Personal Statement
Everyone makes mistakes. Nobody is perfect at everything. The good idea
that comes out of that is we can improve on our mistakes. All students can make
or have made mistakes while at school from 1st grade since
12th grade. My parents always told me the fundamentals of succeeding
in school and in life. My parents have been the biggest influence in my life.
Most of my goals have been establish because of them. And the standards I set
for myself. I’m not a follower nor am I a leader. No one is in position to lead
anyone in life. Everyone has their own opinion and are entitled to it. No one is
more superior or inferior to anyone else. I chose to complete school and get
into the career I’m interested in.
`
My favorite
career that I’m interested in is science. To be more blunt I’m interested in physics. My goal in college is to
obtain a major in physics and a minor in astronomy. I’ve always been interested
in space and time. Just understanding how life works around the universe just
interest me in a way I cannot put into words. Knowing how the universe was
created and what the future holds for human kind. My motivation for completing
my goals is all inside. My parents have gave me the motivational speeches all
threw out my life. Not only does that motivate me but just the pure excitement
to be successful. There is so much to learn in the world that there is a little
something for everyone. No one should be left out in the cold. As technology
grows finding new life at different parts of the universe will be
exciting.
Everyone is unique in their own way. Everyone has motivational
aspirations set for themselves. My motivation is to just be successful and to be
part of something bigger than myself. I believe we were put on this earth to not
just be successful but to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. It’s not
about fame nor money or how popular you are. I believe it’s about what a person
will leave on this earth when they are gone and dead. What milestone will that
person set for everyone else? Some aspiration that can help benefit society. No
one is more superior or inferior than anyone else. I’m not sure if I am more
unique, distinctive, impressive than anyone else. I’m not more superior than
anyone. No one is in position to judge if they are or not. We are all from
different backgrounds and race groups. Everyone experience different aspects of
life. It’s what you have left on this earth that will dictate how you will be
remembered.

Epic Hero Project
Goku is an Epic Hero because he was extremely powerful since birth
and he was sent from Planet Vegeta to Earth to destroy it, but
ended up bonking his head and turned into the nicest guy. So now he spends his
life saving Earth whenever it gets into trouble. Like when Frieza,
who's strong enough to blow up the entire planet with one finger, gets defeated
by Goku; which tells you right there just how powerful he truly is. He never
does anything bad to hurt anyone and even tries to let his enemies live, but
they almost always force him to the point where he has to kill them. From the
time he's a kid to the time he becomes an adult he meets many friends like
Krirrin and Piccolo who help him to protect the world from the evil like Frieza.
He dies a few times heroically, but just gets wished back to life by the dragon
balls and continues saving the Earth from danger. He never becomes truly
immortal, but he doesn't die until way late in his old age and his sons and
their sons will protect the Earth long after he's gone. So I think Goku is
definitely a truly Epic Hero

Reflection
As the first quarter concludes lets
reflect on what we learn in class and what I have enjoyed the most of being
taught. We done many famous literatures such as The Iliad, The Fall of Troy, and
Ramayana. Those stories are the ones I enjoyed the most of and the ones the
class had the most feedback on in my opinion. That certainly is not all we did
we also practice writing SAT essays and answering SAT type questions. This
tactic was not only getting us familiar with our work but also helping us
understand the assignment. We wrote our SAT essays based on what the reader
expects to see and using direct personal experiences and evidence from a text
or novel. And also understanding the difference between a 3 essay score and a 6
essay score. Comparing and contrasting the different essays help the students
and myself understand why an
essay got a certain score. What evidence was use how it was use was it use
correctly. Or a thesis statement
that gives you the gist of the story and some may that confuse the reader. I’ve
personally learn a lot from this
quarter alone. I’ve enjoyed this quarter it plan out better than I expected. I
look forward to 2nd
quarter and hope to read a shakes sphere poem and plenty more
novels.
